RED SPRINGS — Police are looking for a man who has outstanding felony warrants on a variety of charges, according to a Capt. Kimothy Monroe.
Jonathan Christopher Black, 29, of 205 Mt. Tabor Road in Red Springs, has outstanding warrants for injury to personal property, felony breaking and entering, and felonious larceny after breaking and entering, Monroe said. Warrants were obtained after someone broke into his mother’s residence on Friday and stole her 42-inch television.
The Red Springs Police Department has received several complaints on Black this year and is asking anyone with information to call 910-843-3454, Monroe said.
In an unrelated case, 23-year-old Aaron Thomas Locklear, of 28 Middle St. in Red Springs, was arrested Saturday for drunk and disruptive after officers responded to a 911 hangup call on Middle Street. Locklear allegedly got into an altercation with his mother, and he became combative and belligerent when the officer arrived. Locklear was arrested and taken to the magistrate’s office, where he signed a written promise to appear in court.
Red Springs police arrested a Lumberton woman about 2:28 a.m. Monday for probation violation. Anna Earlene Lambert, 29, of 224 Beam Road in Lumberton, was taken to the magistrate’s office, where she was issued a $5,000 secured bond.
