Mrs. Pauline Fields (Kute) McBryde of Red Springs died Tuesday, November 3, 2009 in Baptist Hospital of Cocke County in Newport, TN at the age of 79.
Mrs. McBryde was born in Robeson County on May 23, 1930, to the late Lacy and Pauline Fields. Two brothers, Raymond and Larry Fields, preceded her in death. She was a member of the Red Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church and she retired from Burlington Industries in Raeford in the Mid 90’s.
Survivors are: her son Marcus (Marc) McBryde and his wife Bobbie of Cosby, TN; one brother, Garrett Fields and his wife Martha of Laurinburg, NC; two sisters, Shirley F. Anderson and Deanna F. Jackson both of Athens, AL; two grandchildren, George McBryde of Paragould, AR and Bonnie McBryde of Cosby, TN; two uncles Fred Fields and his wife Margaret of Carthage, NC and Warren Ross and his wife Charlene of Kingsport, TN; one aunt, Elsie Egan of Red Springs, NC; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Red Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Chris Graces officiated.
