The funeral was on Tuesday at the Thompson’s Funeral Home chapel, the Revs. Horace Oxendine and Henry Oxendine officiated. Burial followed at the Ronald Jones family cemetery.
Cummings is survived by his wife, Rosa Mae Jones, of the home; a daughter, Sannatanna Rose Jacobs, of the home; two sons, Thomas Jacobs, of the home, and Cartler Locklear, of Rowland; one brother, James Allen Locklear, of Leesburg, Fla.; four sisters, Patty Midday and Tammie Locklear, botj of Red Springs, Betty Locklear, of Leesburg, Fla., Linda Locklear, of Pembroke; and three grandchildren.
