KFC, located at 911 E. 4th Street in Red Springs, was recently recognized by Scottish Food Systems, Inc. of Laurinburg.

The restaurant team at the local KFC was awarded the Video of Excellence Award for March 2010. The Video of Excellence Award is presented monthly to the restaurant which best displays the service skills and qualities that KFC and Scottish Food Systems have set for all employees.

Presenting the award to KFC General Manager Helen Harrell and her team were Gary Liguori, Director of Operations, Tammy Leggett, Area Supervisor, and Maria Bingham, Director of Marketing.

Tom Broome, President of Scottish Food Systems, praised the team and emphasized the significance of the award, commenting “Each month we assess our restaurants for the excellent practices that our guests deserve and Red Springs KFC has been selected as our most recent winner.
