Mr. Miller was born on June 1, 1925 in Dillon, SC to the late Vernon and Maude Arnette Miller. He retired as a Master Mechanic from Cambells Soup Company.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle M. Miller; two brothers and two sisters, Frank Miller, Clifford Miller, Pauline Cumber and Joyce Griffin.
Survivors include three sons: Johnnie Marion Miller of fuquay, NC, Billy Melvin Miller of Wispering Pines NC, and Charles Marion Miller Jr., of Raeford, NC; a brother, Brian Miller of Raeford; two sisters: Mary West of Raeford, NC and Patti Roberts of Raeford; five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
Graveside services were on Monday, May 24, 2010 at The Raeford City Cemetery with the Reverend Tony Brewington officiated.
