KFC, located at 911 E. 4th Street in Red Springs, NC, was recently recognized for the second consecutive month by Scottish Food Systems, Inc. of Laurinburg. The restaurant team at the local KFC was awarded the Video of Excellence Award for both March and April 2010, both months achieving a perfect score.

The Video of Excellence Award is presented monthly to the restaurant which best displays the service skills and qualities that KFC and Scottish Food Systems have set for all employees.

Presenting the award to KFC General Manager Helen Harrell and her team were Thomas A. “Tab” Broome, President of Scottish Food Systems, Inc., Tammy Leggett, Area Supervisor, and Maria Bingham, Director of Marketing.

Broome emphasized the significance of winning the award twice, commenting “It is quite impressive that the team at Red Springs KFC has been selected twice in 2010 for this award. It proves that the management and team members are accomplishing our mission - to exceed our guest’s expectations, serving delicious food with southern hospitality - making KFC a wonderful place to dine.”
