The funeral was on Saturday in Sandy Grove Baptist Church. Burial was in McLeod’s Cemetery in Maxton.
Survived by: Sons, Willie McCoy, Willie Jr., Robert and Charles; daughters, Cornelia Ferguson and Dotsy Miller; siblings, Charles, James Rollins, Abraham Rollins, Ethel Ivey, Hattie McLean and Catherine Jones.
