Brawleigh Jason Graham, a Native American, is a candidate for District 47 for the NC House of Representatives. He is vying for the seat formerly held by Ron Sutton. As the Republican candidate, Brawleigh Jason Graham will face democrat Charles Graham for the vacant seat in November. Graham was born and raised in the Deep Branch community which is strategically located between Lumberton and Pembroke. He is a graduate of Southeastern Community College and the University of North Carolina at Pembroke where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Chemistry.

Graham has had a varied career in local business, and state and federal government bureaucracies, with the last ten years in the health care arena. He is co-owner and manager of a health care business that provides health care services to Medicare and Medicaid recipients in rural Robeson County and is intimately acquainted with the problems in the health care industry and state and federal governments.

Asserting an unwavering commitment to honesty and transparency in government to the residents of North Carolina’s House seat 47, Brawleigh Jason Graham renewed his campaign today for House seat 47 in North Carolina’s House of Representatives. Graham promised to lead by example and made a specific campaign promise of no increase in taxes period. Graham’s goal is to help restore a fiscally responsible economy in North Carolina with common sense values such as “pay as you go” and a balanced budget without raising taxes, and reasonable term limits. “Common sense values are always in season,” said Graham. Some of his campaign promises are job creation, no more taxes on savings and investments or on estates at death. He also champions fiscal responsibility, a child’s right to life, preservation of the second amendment, improvement in education and health care, and crime prevention.
